From Barnstaple, take the A39 Lynton Road, but before leaving the town turn left at the traffic lights opposite the petrol station.
After 150 yards, turn right into Abbey Road.
At the next T-junction turn left and follow this road out into the country.
Go through Prixford and Guineaford towards Ilfracombe.
One mile out of Guineaford, turn left to Patsford and Middle Marwood.
